Get involved with our youth service ministries
ALTAR SERVERS
Altar Serving is a wonderful way of learning more about your faith, being an important part of the Mass and also keeping in touch with your Church once you have moved from primary school to the high school years.
Any Catholic youth are welcome to become Altar Servers. Training sessions are held throughout the year at the Church.
Rosters are prepared in advance with your turn normally coming around about every 5 – 6 weeks.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
Eucharistic Ministers assist the Parish Priest with the distribution of communion during mass and at nursing homes. In handing out the body and blood of Jesus Christ, Eucharistic Ministers play an important role in the parish.
There is a special training course for Eucharistic Ministers, and you must be over 18 and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation. If this appeals to you, we would love to have you on board! 🙏

LECTORS
Our Lectors bring the Holy Bible to life for us as they narrate the stories of Jesus, His disciples and the holy men and women who came before us.
The role of Lector is not just as a reader of these passages, but a student of the Bible, understanding the context, spirit and relevance of the Holy Word for today’s world.

MUSIC
The Music Ministry plays a very important role in enhancing the spirituality of all our parish liturgical celebrations.
Musicians and singers are always needed to perform at weekend masses as well as special celebrations during Easter, Christmas, first Holy Communion and Confirmation.
The Youth Music Ministry supports the following mass times:
- Saturday 6:00 PM – 3rd, 4th & 5th Saturdays
- Sunday 11:00 AM (Chinese) – Every Sunday
Choir rehearsals are scheduled approximately 1 hour before mass.
